As a firefighter-owned and operated company, Rampart Wildland Company was built from experience in the field.

Before starting this business, I spent years working in wildland fire, seeing firsthand how quickly fire moves through untreated forest and how small details such as ladder fuels, spacing, and fuel load can make a big difference. Properties that had been properly mitigated didn’t just look better, they performed better under real fire conditions.

Today, I serve as a firefighter in our local community. That perspective carries into every project we take on. We live in the same areas we’re helping protect. We understand the terrain, the fuel types, and the realities of living in Colorado’s wildland-urban interface. Our approach is straightforward, by reducing fuel, creating defensible space, and applying practices that align with Colorado State Forest Service and Firewise recommendations.
